If two phones are playing computer generated music, they can also listen to each other like two artists that were jamming together and they can modify their stream of music to accompany each other. Imagine, I'm playing AI generated music on my phone, and I walk into a room where someone else's phone is playing AI generated music in the style that meets their preference. Then the tastes of the two users meet as the phones jam together.
Today, people can use a streaming app, and when they hit the next button, the app learns which songs or which types of songs to play more often. In the future, there will be apps that generate music by traversing different types of beats and musical progressions or styles. The user will press the continue button to speed up the transition to a different part of the song or different kind of sound. The AI will learn from this feedback about what kind of song to generate.
