I designed a control system for controlling two dimensions of coffee.

When I get my coffee, usually at 711, I first add a little ice. This is because I want the final product to be slightly cooler than scalding.

Next I head to the coffee station. I start to pour the coffee. If the coffee is too strong, I stop halfway and finish the rest with the hot water from the red handle. If the coffee is the right strength, I finish pouring the coffee.

This system allows me to completely govern both the temperature and the strength. When I add the ice first, I know the next two products, the hot coffee or the hot water are the same temperature. This means after the first step of adding the ice, I already know how hot the final product will be. Then the next steps of adding a blend of hot coffee and hot water allow me to get the strength of the drink that I want.
